St. Patrick’s Day is this Saturday, March 17. While the holiday was initially created to honor the fifth-century Catholic missionary credited with spreading Christendom in Ireland, nowadays it is more commonly viewed as a chance to honor friends and family by celebrating with great food and plenty of drink.

For those who plan on hitting the town this weekend, there are no shortage of pubs, clubs, bars and restaurants serving traditional Irish fare and pouring green beer. Here are just a few of the watering holes around Silicon Valley where you and your mates can have a good time.
