UV: Where would your ideal show be held?
MB: A solo show at the Oakland Museum! Due to the fact I was born and raised in Oakland that would be the highlight of my career.

UV: What kind of music do you like?
MB: All kinds, but R&B and jazz hits me the most.

UV: Who are three other Bay Area artists that inspire you?
MB: Stephen Von Mason, Raymond Sanders, and David Bradford.

UV: What were you thinking when you made the piece on the cover?
MB: Well, a lot was going on in my head. I relate music, art and poetry as food for the soul, so I use a combo of ideas to express what makes up my plate: good eating.

UV: Assuming your life is a work of art, how would you title it? What size would it be and in what medium?
MB: I would title it "A Moment to Myself." The size would be 50' by 10'. The medium mixed, of course.
