UV: Who or what are your biggest influences?
T: Fayette, Alabama. Denmark, Tennessee and my brother Charly Palmer - www.missunderstood1.com.

UV: If you were stuck on a desert island what three things could you not live without?
T: My Basquiat books, a plate of my mother's meatloaf, mashed potatoes and cabbage, and two cans of black Krylon.

UV: Where would your ideal show be held?
T: Roosevelt Middle School of the Arts. Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They taught me how to be free in my creativity.

UV: Do you have a day job?
T: I'm a writer during the day and there's always a battle to find time to paint. It helps to write because writing is a visual art thing.

UV: Do you conceptualize a piece beforehand or give reign to spontaneity?
T: I give reign to current issues and mix them with childhood. I don't know why.
