Foxy Night

By Colleen Watson

THURSDAY is basically the first night of the weekend. You can stay out late and have some fun and then power through the eight hours of work until the real weekend begins. And the Cardiff Lounge in Campbell is there to help kick off the pseudo first weekend night with Foxy, the best dance party in Campbell.

By 11pm there's a line, and everybody can hear the house music thumping from a block away. Campbell's beautiful people all head here for dancing and drinks; the place is packed with college students and young professionals. Global Sessions holds the party, and though they have a handful of house DJs, they also bring in famous headliners to pump up the crowd. This really is the place for some serious dancing, and the dance floor also showcases impressive talent. So even those who aren't into dance can enjoy just watching the show. The music is mostly house and vibe, so if you can convince your friends to stay for "one more song," well, you could be there all night. Foxy has been a South Bay staple for the last six years. Locals know that Cardiff is the place to go on Thursday nights.
