Aum Shinri Kyo and the Japanese Police
| Tokyo-based computer fiend Timoth3y (no typo; it's explained on his home page) Romero provides an exhaustive file of facts on the gang that gassed the subways. It's a fascinating, frightening case and Tim's documented it, unbelievably, day-by-day but with a non-sensationalist take. He's just as worried about the cops' Stalinesque excesses as about the cult's toxic hijinks. There's also several interesting articles about the cult here, including Tim's own, "Who Was Protecting Aum?" which raises some skin-crawling questions.
