Farmers Markets

IT'S STILL winter but the blossoming cherry trees and emerging leaves on trees mean that spring is getting closer by the day. Pretty soon farmers markets will be filled up with first-of-the-year produce. Here's a list of five farmers markets where you can get the best of what the season has to offer.

Menlo Park, between Chestnut and Crane streets. Sundays, 9:30am-1:30pm.

Milpitas, parking lot off Calaveras Boulevard at Town Center Drive. Wednesdays, 10am-2pm and Sundays, 9am-1pm.

Mountain View, parking lot on Hope Street. between Evelyn Avenue and Villa Street. Sundays, 9am-1pm.

San Jose/Santana Row, Stevens Creek and Winchester boulevards. Sundays, 10am-2pm.

Sunnyvale, South Murphy Avenue between Washington and Evelyn avenues. Saturdays, 9am-1pm.
