5 Things to Love

Earthquake Preparedness Foods

By Stett Holbrook

Water: When the big one hits, expect water supplies to be severely limited. Store one gallon of water per person.

Peanut butter: Cheap source of protein. Creamy or crunchy, it's up to you.

Crackers: You've got to have something to spread that peanut butter on.

Dried fruit: Great high-nutrient, high-energy food.

Cup of noodles: There's nothing like a hot cup of ramen to help ease the pain of the devastation wrought by a 7.5 quake.
