Ovaria

Sarah2 and Laurie Parle present "Ovaria," a two-day art fair dedicate to bringing women artists together in a celebration and exposition of their work. All art sale proceeds go directly to the artists. There will be face painting, jewelry design, large, heavy oil paintings, refreshments, and live music.

Gilbert "Bobbo" Aghiable

MOCHA, in collaboration with the Oakland Museum of California's "Wrapped in Pride -- Ghananian Kente and African Identity" exhibit, will be hosting an on-site Kente cloth weaving demonstration by Ewe master weaver Gilbert "Bobbo" Aghiable. Bobbo will set his loom up in the courtyard of Swan's Marketplace, just outside of MOCHA.
