Winter Fest
This is a winter celebration featuring the sale of artwork by local and regional artists. There will be live music, and it is a free event being held as part of the Third-Thursdays-Oakland Art Night.

Solstice Celebration
This solstice event, held in the gallery will focus on celebrating the light and creating an opportunity for healing. The event is free and is in conjunction with the "Reconstructing Reality" exhibit which runs through Jan. 5.

Trio Project

Daniel Park
Gallery talk by sculptor and mixed-media artist, Daniel Park in conjunction with the exhibit featuring his work, "Manifest & Concealed." Exhibition runs through Dec. 28.

Protest Art Survey Reception
Reception for John Grunfest, Jim Torlakson, Megan Bierman, JD Schreiber, and others exhibiting protest artwork from the Vietnam War through the current war in Afghanistan. The exhibition runs through Jan 6.

Alameda Museum Tours
The Alameda Meyers House and Garden Museum-House will have docent led tours to view ornately furnished in antiques and art objects, many original to the house.

Mark J. Leavitt
Opening reception for "Analogous Biology: Balance and Use." The exhibition features ceramic sculpture, textiles, and prints by Mark Leavitt and runs through Jan. 19.

Family Day
A free holiday family day for children and adults. Art projects, live music, exhibition tours, and puppet shows will highlight the afternoon at the Judah L. Magnes Museum and the Berkeley-Richmond Jewish Community Center. Complimentary food will be served.
