This Thursday in Mountain View, the award-winning Black gospel group Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir (OIGC) is back performing some of the most spiritual music around for this holiday season. Director Terrance Kelly—who has been called everything from an “absolute musical genius” to a “demanding taskmaster”—offers his signature gospel arrangements of traditional holiday music with powerful vocals and a seasonal spirit listeners can feel deep inside. This is the first Holiday Gospel Concert for the group since returning from hiatus during the pandemic.
