Art Boutiki often puts on interesting, dynamic showcases, and this week is no exception. Starting the evening with a photography exhibit by Luna Dark Photography, followed by a video presentation, the event culminates in a performance from one of the most exciting up-and-coming musical outfits in San Jose: Chilindrina. A local band with a charming lead vocalist, Chilindrina creates dreamy, noisy pop that retains a punk edginess while adding in a soaring sense of melody. Chilindrina will be supported by the bands Treasvre and Daisy Chain Reaction.
