Eclectic blues troubadour Pokey LaFarge is like the experience of a warm summer’s night paired with a strong cocktail. The Bloomington-born singer-songwriter is back on the road, touring his most sonically and lyrically diverse record yet. Drawing influence from Southwestern, South American and Caribbean sounds, LaFarge’s latest LP, In the Blossom of Their Shade, is a lyrically emotive body of work that’s as groovy as it is moving. Tinged with the flavors of blues and folk music, In the Blossom is anything but ordinary. Acoustic folk duo Cicada Rhythm open the night.
