There’s nothing quite like a good film festival, and fortunately for South Bay residents, Cinequest is here for the cinephiles. The two-week film festival takes place in both San Jose and Mountain View, offering attendees the chance to feel “Energized” in line with this year’s theme. The festival includes movies from around the world and across genres, with many U.S. and world premieres jammed into 15 days. Some standouts include The Adults, starring Michael Cera and Sophia Lillis, sci-fi story Share? and Sometimes I Feel Like Dying starring Daisy Ridley. Venues include the renowned California Theatre, Hammer Theatre and ShowPlace ICON Theatre.
