Rob Kapilow’s What Makes It Great? Dreaming of a Jewish Christmas gives a behind-the-scenes look at several beloved Christmas songs like “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” “Silver Bells” and “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” all penned by Jewish composers. The show delves into these songwriters’ captivating tales as immigrant outsiders trying to find their place in American culture by embracing Tin Pan Alley, Broadway and Hollywood. The Choral Project will accompany Kapilow.
