As the holiday season approaches in the South Bay, a white and snowy winter is unlikely, but holiday songs can help set the mood regardless. San Jose’s Hammer Theatre Center presents a wide-ranging candlelight holiday concert this Friday, offering visitors two evening shows full of classic holiday tunes. In the 60-minute performance, attendees can hear “Deck the Halls,” “Ave Maria” and songs from Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker.” The string quartet Range Ensemble will perform all songs.
