Bassist, guitarist and songwriter Dave Maurischat recently released a new album, Who Woulda Known, and he’s having a launch party. The music is thoughtful singer-songwriter fare verging into pop punk and psychedelia, thanks to solid production and masterful guitar skills. Spending time in the Bay Area, LA and Nashville, Maurischat has picked up multiple sophisticated influences along the way. There are definitely some banger ballads to be heard. Opening for Dave is Fossil, fresh back from their tour with the creative powerhouse Michael Hurley.
