There aren’t many DJs that release a debut album that takes them straight to the top of their genre. However, British producer TroyBoi isn’t just any old DJ. His curated style combines bass, trap, and house often with traditional music and sounds from around the world. Because of this he’s earned top billing on festivals, millions of video and music streams, and headlining tours like Hear2Move which he’s bringing to Pure Nightclub this weekend. This is fresh off the September release of his new EP Rootz, which features electronic music mixed with traditional Indian music and collaborations with Indian musicians like Amrit Maan, BombayMami and Lata Mangeshkar.
