When it comes to brass ensembles—that gleaming assortment of trumpets, tubas, French horns and trombones—nobody does it better than Canadian Brass. Starting in 1970, the ensemble is constantly upgrading its repertoire, and selling millions of albums. Playing everything from Bach to the Beatles, in tandem with The Peninsula Symphony, and led by guest conductor Brad Hogarth, this is world class music that is accessible to everyone. This time around expect they will play a wide array of songs including, traditional gospel, ragtime, and a devoted section to Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess.
