Bomsori Kim is a 36-year-old, South Korean, classical violinist who plays from the soul. A good example is Bomsori’s performance at the Eiffel Tower, in Paris in 2025. Violins speak to a person differently than any other stringed instrument. In Bomsori’s hands, she takes people on a journey to the music of another century. Accompanied on piano by Changyong Shin, with compositions by Ravel and Debussy. An evening that includes the Arabic and Spanish music of Szymanowski’s Nocturne and Tarantella is a rare treat. Bomsori has played prestigious festivals around the world, including the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. She’s a bona fide rockstar.
