Neil Diamond’s popularity is on the rise again, thanks to the new movie Song Sung Blue, starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson, as well as A Beautiful Noise. Written by Oscar-nominated Anthony McCarten (Bohemian Rhapsody, The Theory of Everything, Darkest Hour, The Two Popes), the jukebox musical debuted on Broadway in 2022 and chronicles 60 years of the singer’s life and career. Directed by Michael Mayer, this production features American Idol winner Nick Fradiani and Robert Westenberg, who both play Diamond at different ages and perform hit songs like “I’m a Believer,” “Solitary Man,” “Cracklin’ Rosie,” “Sweet Caroline” and “America.” Performances go until Jan. 4.
