Alanis Morissette’s Tour Celebrates 25th Anniversary of ‘Jagged Little Pill’

If any album’s 25th anniversary festivities were well-attuned to our current dark times, it’s Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill. Released in 1995, the iconic LP won the Canadian-American singer the crown as the era’s “Queen of Alt-Rock Angst” in Rolling Stone’s estimation. This Saturday, Morissette picks up where she left off pre-pandemic, reviving her Jagged Little Pill Anniversary Tour and bringing her cathartic hits like “You Learn,” “Everything” and “Ironic” to her current home-turf here in northern California. It’s not supposed to rain during the celebration, but if it did…wouldn’t that be ironic?
