All Girl Summer Fun Band puts a Portland, Oregon spin on the concept of “endless summer.” These rock ‘n’ roll best friends formed their band in the summer of 1998, thinking it was only for the summer. But in no time, they had signed with famous indie label K Records. Now, 25 years later, Kim Baxter, Kathy Foster (of The Thermals) and Jen Sbragia (of The Softies) have found their way back onto the road together. They’re still rocking their distinctive brand of punk-infused twee-pop. Their last record was 2008’s Looking Into It; perhaps this tour is the start of something fun and new.
