A musical force led by the acclaimed pianist, the Art Lande Quartet has carved its unique place in modern jazz since the 1970s. One of the group’s calling cards is its UnStandard approach: presenting familiar and well-loved material but recasting it in new, interesting and innovative ways. The current edition of the Art Lande Quartet features the pianist joined by bassist Peter Barshay, drummer Dillon Vado and multi-instrumentalist Bruce Williamson. The prolific Lande has worked with Steve Swallow, Woody Shaw, Charlie Haden and many others. He is credited with more than 500 compositions, working outward from jazz into classical and beyond.
