Let's be real: New Years Eve is totally overrated. Everyone feels obligated to go out, to be with other people, to have someone to kiss when the clock strikes midnight, and to spend an inordinate amount of cash. For what? Some balloons, a dash of confetti and a flute of Cooks? Psh... When will we as a species evolve and move beyond all of these trifling, NYE traditions?
