This Monday, there will be a meeting of the minds as two highly awarded journalists sit down to discuss homelessness in Silicon Valley. California journalist Brian Barth has written for Mother Jones, New Yorker, National Geographic and more but now he has written his first book, Front Street: Resistance and Rebirth in the Tent Cities of Techlandia. He is joined by Pulitzer Prize nominated ex-San Francisco Chronicle reporter, Kevin Fagan, as the two discuss the three separate homeless camps Barth followed for the book: Wood Street in Oakland, Wolfe Camp in Cupertino and Crash Zone in San Jose. The event is free but attendees can pre-purchase the book on Kepler’s website.
