Pianist Bruce Liu is a pianist with broad cultural and artistic inspirations. After becoming the first prize winner in the XVIII Chopin International Piano Competition, he has been gaining traction and touring the world. This former child prodigy plays Chopin like … a Chopin contest winner. Like one of those pianists who seems augmented by muses from beyond, this Canadian looks like he is conversing with the piano in videos of him playing. The piano, for its part, appears to understand fully.
