From Carlsbad, New Mexico, TikTok influencer and comic Cactus Tate had a hardscrabble life. Growing up poor with parents who were addicts, she first saw a DVD of George Lopez at 8 years old and played it so many times it began to sound like Dubstep. Tate got married at 19 to a man that she met on Tinder, after knowing him for only two weeks. Pregnant and living in Texas, Tate started putting some of her jokes on TikTok. And the rest is history. Hardworking and able to hit emotional depths most people her age have no idea about. Performances go until Jan 31.
