Eastside San Jose’s favorite Mexican Independence Day festival is back with even more dynamic visual and performing arts, folkloric and Aztec dance, mariachi music and authentic Mexican cuisine. Chile Mole Pozole Fest is now on its fifth year—and for good reason. Taking place at the Mexican Heritage Plaza (or La Plazita), the event is a community gathering that highlights some of the most incredible facets of Mexican culture and traditions. The event is a celebration of Mexico’s September 16 liberation from Spanish rule, and features a dynamic performance from headliners Discos Resaca Collective.
