Chicago native Craig Robinson is immediately recognizable from his many appearances on TV, including The Office, Mr. Robot, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and in movies like Hot Tub Time Machine, Pineapple Express, This is the End, and of course from his Pizza Hut commercials where he proclaims Nobody Outpizzas the Hut. He got his start, though, by taking the stage as a stand-up comedian, and despite his busy on-camera schedule, he’s never abandoned his first love. The keyboard-wielding comic superstar is in town for five shows over three nights at The San Jose Improv.

Unfortunately the Improv is one of the worst run Improvs in the country. Just take a look at the Google reviews before patronizing this terrible venue. Amazed that ownership allows the current “management” team. Love Craig Robinson but wil never go back to San Jose Improv until they have a complete change of staff and management
Hello. I came across this article or rather it was sent to my email and I wanted to say that I think Craig Robinson is a super fun, talented guy. Comedy wise from the movies Ive seen he gives me that experience of “Thank you, I haven’t laughed like that in so long and so hard” reaction where you have tears in your eyes. I reside in Campbell and would love to see him at the SJ Improv, which by the way, I totally disagree with the Mr. S Greenberg’s comment… ” The Improv being one of the worst Improves in the country”.
My personal opinion “Really, how over the top does a venue have to be? I mean essentially you’re a Fan, going to a venue to see an artist you apparently enjoy, that you’ll get to see local. That’s the fun and whole point of it, right?
I mean I kinda get that waiter staff and service getting your drinks and food order could ideally speed up, but other than that the SJ IMPROV is a great venue place!
**If there happens to be any extra tickets available ..I would love and appreciate the opportunity to attend Craig Robinson show!
Events such as this don’t happen that often, and I definitely am an appreciative Fan!! 🙋
