Humanitarian, entrepreneur and saxophone extraordinaire Dave Koz leads the country’s longest-running jazz-based Christmas tour. This year, the nine-time Grammy nominee is celebrating the tour’s 26th anniversary, and the cast joining him on the month-long holiday fete is more brightly star-studded than ever. Foremost among them is longtime collaborator Jonathan Butler, who features on a groovy version of “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” (punctuated by African chanting, no less) on Koz’s 2019 holiday album, Gifts of the Season. This year, these seasoned performers have a prodigy joining them on the road: Justin-Lee Schultz, the 16-year-old South African social media sensation.
