Peninsula Symphony opens its 77th season with a performance by flautist Demarre McGill. A graduate of both the Curtis Institute and Juilliard, McGill is principal flautist with the Seattle Symphony. Working variously as a soloist, within chamber ensembles and orchestras, McGill’s repertoire encompasses both classical masterworks and contemporary compositions. For this date, McGill is presenting a pair of solo works with the orchestra. The program also features the Symphony (led by Lara Webber), performing three additional works. Children and students are admitted free of charge to this evening of classical music at Campbell’s Heritage Theatre.
