r. r. jones’ fine arts photography has taken him all over the world, but particularly into the visual portrayal of spiritual leaders and residents in Bali, Southeast Asia, and Mexico. Heralded for the emotional depth and technicality of his work, r. r. jones has also served as in-house photographer for the Kuumbwa Jazz Center, the Monterey Jazz Festival, the Santa Cruz Symphony, and the Cabrillo New Music Festival. Under the direction of curator Susan Hillhouse Leask, Encounters runs alongside the exhibition Stitches & Wiggles featuring the mixed media art of fellow Santa Cruz-based artists Jody Alexander and Thomas Campbell. Encounters goes until February 15, 2026.
