Whelp. It’s finally happened. It’s been long enough since the mid-2000s emo punk scene that it’s swung back around into the culture’s eye. Hailing from Nashville, Free Throw started in the scene in 2012 and their 2014 debut, Those Days Are Gone is a masterclass in the Midwestern Emo sound. In 2023 they released Lessons That We Swear to Keep with a fully produced, stadium sound showcasing the band’s dedication to continued growth. They are currently on tour with screamo kings Thursday.
