Three soulful, genre-bending musicians are gearing up for a jam-packed jazz-funk takeover at Art Boutiki this Friday. Headliners include Ian Santillano, whose works are reminiscent of Thundercat & John Mayer’s soulful intonations and groovy dance cuts, eclectic indie singer-songwriters Mild Monk and Sacramento-born Aish. Opening are instrumental math rock band Ripplings, established in August earlier this year, who debuted their first show last month and have been garnering buzz in the local scene.
