Bay Area folk and Americana artist Jimbo Scott is a former member of jamgrass band Poor Man’s Whiskey. On his own, Scott crafts songs that explore our sense of community and connectedness. He has performed at the Fillmore, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, the Kate Wolf Music Festival and Salmonfest. Scott’s outdoor performance is part of the evening’s larger Open Air of the Spheres program that includes astronomer Dr. Devontae Baxter presenting a lecture, “The Birth of Cosmic Behemoths: Insights Into the Earliest Stages of Galaxy Cluster Assembly.” Admission includes access to telescope viewings through the 36-inch Great Refractor Dome.
