Cuban music might be the coolest music on the planet. A prime example: Buena Vista Social Club (who released one of the best-selling Latin albums ever). The epitome of cool! Bay area group, Los Calderones, brings the Afro-Latino swag to shows and parties wherever they are requested. For this event, they are performing at MACLA on South First Friday. It’s going to be a Cuban music fiesta, but MACLA will also have its incredible “From Their Hands to Ours” exhibit on display, for anyone needing a break from dancing to check out.
