Led by the former host of NPR’s All Things Considered, Ari Shapiro left behind his political career to sing, sing, sing. Along with Edna Vazquez, whose soulful voice, Latin roots and guitar work are muy excepcional. Add in America’s Got Talent finalist Jimmie Herrod, and this trio of voices will make anyone’s night ring. Pink Martini was founded by Thomas Lauderdale, and his “little orchestra” takes on original numbers like “Raise Your Glass,” “Fuckin’ Perfect” and “Heartbreak Down” with big band sounds. A unique trio of All-stars makes this the perfect show to get happy too.
