People shouldn’t be fooled by the royal title; the only court intrigue in the new production at Lucie Stern Theatre involves the sudden disappearance of bee colonies worldwide. After PhD candidates Sanam and Ariel discover a flaw in their research on the disappearing bees, it puts everything on the line—careers, friendships, even an arranged marriage. The two researchers are forced to decide whether to reveal their earth-shattering research or compromise it for the sake of the ecologically unsteady planet. (TM)
