This show promises to be drastically different. The band claims to have prepared 75 songs for the tour, which is by far their most ever. They’re drawing heavily from 2007’s landmark In Rainbows, though no doubt there will be much from last year’s The King of Limbs. And the stage design, which includes a wall of recycled plastic water bottles lit with LEDs, may turn out to be one of the most stunning to ever hit HP.
With the festival’s growing cultural influence has come greater scrutiny. There’s already a number of Internet discussions and debates about who should play Coachella in 2013, including a Facebook page devoted to campaigning for the Muppets to headline. If they do, the question is: will they come through the SJSU Event Center?
