RBD first came to prominence in the early 2000s after being featured in the hit telenovela Rebelde. Consisting of six members, RBD combined the youthful exuberance of a boy band with the co-ed big stadium sensibilities of ABBA or the VengaBoys–and to great success. RBD’s second album, Nuestro Amor was nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2006. Since then, the group has gone on to earn even more Latin Grammy nominations and chart-topping hits. Having sold over 15 million albums since founding, RBD is one of the best-selling Latin music artists of all time. This weekend, RBD will be playing at the SAP Center in San Jose.
