The first RBS (or Real Bay Shit) show, back in 2021, was like nothing most of music fans had ever seen. It took place when the world was just barely starting to reopen after the pandemic and hosted four Bay Area bands (and one from L.A.) in a random parking lot in San Jose whose address wasn’t even disclosed until a couple of hours before the show via social media. And yet, over 2000 people showed up, with it being many attendees first hardcore show, literally from all over the country, as far as Florida. Since then, RBS has remained a staple in the hardcore community, albeit a little more legit in actual venues. This year’s show happens on Saturday, April 11th, but fans can get their mosh kicks in a day early with the preshow featuring Big Boy, Extinguish, Slugger, Slumped, Concision and Skin Show.
