The 113-year-old San Francisco Symphony blazes bright at the Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular. This year’s program highlights works by Aaron Copland, Hollywood composer John Williams and pop icon David Bowie. The Symphony also presents vocalist Jessica Vosk, who starred as Elphaba during Wicked’s national Broadway tour. Conductor Edwin Outwater is known for his cross-genre collaborations with the likes of heavy metal band Metallica, jazz legend Wynton Marsalis, operatic soprano Renée Fleming and classical cellist Yo-Yo Ma.
