In 2016, nine-time Grammy-nominated jazz saxophonist Dave Koz told journalist Gregg Shapiro, “I feel like collaboration in music has allowed me to grow musically beyond my wildest dreams.” That community-minded spirit has carried him around the world to share stages with legendary horn players since the start of his career in 1990. His latest holiday-themed round-up of friends includes trumpeter Rick Braun and guitarist Peter White, both of whom toured with him in the early days of his career. There’s also a new friend on the bill: vocalist Rebecca Jade, who was a 2022 nominee for the Smooth Jazz Network’s Breakout Artist of the Year.
