Everyone loves a good comeback story, and this Friday, Art Boutiki will host one of the South Bay’s most dramatic comebacks in over a decade. Okay, maybe that’s stretching it, but fans are excited about the reunion of San Jose’s post-punk-meets-pop-rock band, Bell Thieves—their first show in over a decade. And, okay, they’re technically not Bell Thieves anymore, as they’ve rebranded themselves as Small Sigh, a new name for a new life. Hey, it’s not like anyone’s documenting this stuff. Oakland’s finest, alt-rockers Periscope and DJ Piscespace, join the comeback celebrations.
