A celebration of Italian musical heritage awaits the community. Conducted by Venezuelan American composer Juan Cristóbal Palacios, the Mission Chamber Orchestra performs A Charlie Brown Christmas on its 60th anniversary, paying special homage to Italian American jazz pianist Vince Guaraldi, whose compositions for television adaptations of the Peanuts comic strip touched multiple generations. Other highlights include Marcello’s “Oboe Concerto in D Major” performed by oboist Robert Scott, and Jeremy Cavaterra’s “Lost Coast.”
