Spaghetti is a quartet of instrumentalists: leader and 2023 Grammy-nominated pianist/accordionist Sam Reider, Jim Campilongo on guitar, bassist Mat Muntz and drummer Scott Amendola. The group presents original material from the Reider/Campilongo writing team along with an eclectic assortment of tunes from composers including Duke Ellington, Argentine legend Astor Piazzolla, and country icon Hank Williams. Reider’s approach is designed as a musical journey that redefines genres, combining past and present in creative ways. Campilongo’s artistry has been showcased on 15 albums and alongside artists like Norah Jones, Nels Cline and Burning Spear. Muntz and Amendola have mightily impressive résumés as well.
