Comedians with a demure appearance always seem to have the heaviest-hitting jokes, and Josh Gondelman is no exception. Now NYC-based, Gondelman found his footing as a standup in Boston while still a teenager, and has had a huge influence as a writer on shows like Last Week Tonight with John Oliver and Desus & Mero. His hilarious debut standup special People Pleaser came out last year, but fans and soon-to-be fans alike can also see Gondelman’s previous sets for Conan, Late Night with Seth Meyers and more. In the meantime, there’s always Gondelman’s great Twitter account, providing hefty laughs and heartfelt advice.
