Though The Nutcracker is more popular during the holidays, Swan Lake is one of the most iconic and enduring ballets of all time. With a famous score by Tchaikovsky and choreography by Marius Petipa, the ballet dates back exactly 150 years and tells the doomed love story of Prince Siegfried and Princess Odette, who’s turned into a swan by evil sorcerer Baron Von Rothbart. Presented by Classical Arts Entertainment and We Dance Production, which stage ballets like The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty throughout the year with dancers mostly from the Ukraine, as well as other countries, this performance features principal dancers Sergei Zdanschi, Ilona Baitler, Oleksii Kniazkov and Diana Stetsenko.
