In a move recalling the release of the aforementioned MBV, Sir Paul snuck out a video for a catchy, rocking track simply titled “New.” It’s been a long time since Paul has been an innovator, but I’m thankful that this man who could easily rest on his laurels and make a ton of money touring and living off his legacy still follows his muse and keeps creating. Combining the rockers and ballads that are a Paul trademark, several tracks on this record even take on a vaguely glam rock sound, and against all odds it works.
