Back by popular demand, Globo Cons is “reuniting” at San Jose’s Art Boutiki this week. A local music outfit, Globo Cons plays a very beautiful, effervescent type of indie pop/rock with songs that touch the heart and delight the senses with interesting arrangements, instrument selections and an overall vibe that draws the listener in ever further. Globo Cons take traces of popular music in the last few decades—echoes of everything from Oasis to Sufjan Stevens—and combine them to make a sound that is distinctly its own: intimate, sensitive and familiar.
